HI, I’M THUY

Thank you for being here!

My name is Thuy (Twee). I was born in Vietnam, where I spent most of my childhood. My fondest memories are biking down my alley, eating street food, shopping with mom at the market, and swimming in the Pacific ocean. My name means “water” in Vietnamese. I’ve always felt a strong connection to water, the way it flows and its healing properties; similar to the healing flow of Reiki. My father loved working his hands and owned a Sewing company back home. My mom was an Environmental Scientist. I inherited her love for mother nature.

Moving to Minnesota at a young age, I also discovered my passion for art and working with my hands. I received my degree in Bachelor of Arts and worked as a Graphic Designer. On weekends, I would provide makeup services for brides and wedding parties. Through makeup, I discovered a love for working with clients and felt more healed with each person and the time we spent together.

In 2023, I received training in Usui/Holy Fire and New Earth Reiki. Taking my first Reiki training forever changed my life and catapulted my spiritual journey. The same year, I completed the Animal Reiki I & II training. In March 2024, I became a certified Reiki master with Usui/Holy Fire® III World Peace / New Earth Reiki .

Together with Reiki, I’m passionate about a more holistic approach to healing and using Reiki as complementary therapy alongside traditional medical treatment.
